Guidelines For Automated Collection |
 |
REFUSE
All refuse (non-recyclable materials) should be placed only in your burgundy container. Refuse not contained in the burgundy container will not be collected.
Do not place construction materials or liquid or hazardous wastes (paint, oil, chemicals, pesticides, batteries) in your refuse container. Household hazardous wastes are accepted at the Fire Department's Environmental Management Center. Check the Fire Department Web site for more details.

RECYCLABLES
All Glendale residents and businesses with the City's automated refuse containers have been provided with one or more 64 or 100-gallon gray automated containers for the collection of commingled recyclables. The large collection capacity makes it convenient to participate in the City's recycling program.
